The basic sketch of Apolite is formed of curved lines without any volume or thickness. Rattan and iron are chosen to represent the character of each line.
The user can choose whether want to show the shadow or not by changing the bulb. Clear bulb makes the shadow visible, while frosted bulb makes the shadow invisible or blur.
The 1st prototype of Apolite had won Bravacasa Indonesia Design Challenge 2012. The new version will be launched @ Creaboration, JCC Senayan, January 17th 2013.
